William Swift

Background

Bill Swift is an executive coach and leadership performance and change consultant with more than 30 years of corporate management experience.  He has led large retail and commercial banking organizations.  His experience stretches across marketing, sales, customer service, call center management, and human resources.  He has led initiatives across a broad spectrum of strategic goals.  He brings this dynamic experience into his coaching relationships with an enthusiastic business focus to inspire leadership development and deliver results.

Previous Experience

At Rogers Bill spent six years as an executive in the GTA and South Western Ontario call-center operations.  Previously, Bill spent 25 years with the Bank of Montréal in a variety of leadership positions on both the retail and commercial sides of the business.  In 1998 Bill was recognized with the ITX Award for his leadership work on the mbanx development team.   He has been on the Board of Directors of Eurolite Architectural Lighting & Design since 2000.

Affiliations

Bill spent two terms as the chairperson of the Bank of Montréal's "Our People Fund" charity: raising in excess of $1 million a year.  Bill has also been a director of both the Mississauga and North York symphony orchestras.

Education

Bill has a Bachelor degree from the University of Toronto majoring in Economics.  He has also completed an Advanced Executive Program at the Ivey School of Business, University of Western Ontario and the Kellogg School of Business, Northwestern University, Illinois.  Bill is a CoachU graduate, an ICF affiliate and is licensed for the delivery of programs in Essential Conversations for Developing Others, (ECDO) and the Coaching Clinic, both deliverables of CoachU/Inc. Bill is currently enrolled in the Advanced Corporate Coaching Program with CoachU.

Personal Note

Bill is married with two sons, 18 and 24, respectively attending their first and last year of University. He has and continues to spend a lot of time in Hockey arenas.  He is an avid reader, enjoys a broad range of music and frequently attends concerts and the theatre.  In recent years the family Swift has traveled extensively, with recent trips to Mexico, London, Spain, Morocco, Turkey and Israel. Bill is at his best, given time to think and reflect, on the dock of his cottage.

Donna Kuppers

Donna’s career today as a Business Coach has evolved from a culmination of her educational background and diversity of work experience.

Donna graduated over 15 years ago with a business degree from Wilfrid Laurier University and her Chartered Accounting Designation. 

For many years Donna worked as an Internal and External Auditor as well as a Controller and Vice President of Finance for a variety small to medium sized organizations prior to creating her own business.

In 2002 Donna launched JDK Management Services Inc. specifically designed to provide strategic financial consulting services to Entrepreneurs of small to medium sized companies.

Over the past 6 years Donna has worked with a number of business owners facilitating them in the development and realization of their financial goals. This has been accomplished through education, awareness, training, process development, strategic planning and effective communications with the business leaders.

In 2006, Donna graduated from the Core Essentials Coaching program offered through Coach U, an accredited training institute with the International Coaching Federation (ICF). She is currently pursuing her CEC designation.

Donna has successfully integrated her coaching skills into her business model by providing a unique service offering to her clientele. 

After experiencing how motivating and results oriented coaching was for her clients, Donna became inspired to share her coaching skills and became licensed to facilitate the Coaching Clinic® in 2007.

Donna has recently aligned with fellow coaching colleagues in the creation of Beyond Possibility a partnership of diverse coaching professionals. Beyond Possibility is designed to deliver the Coaching Clinic® to owners, managers and advisors throughout North America.

Paul McCarthy

Paul is fascinated by how people interact and is focused on creating environments where individuals and teams can perform at their best. He supports people to understand the vital role communication plays in developing, delivering and maintaining highly productive business and personal relationships.

Skilled in designing workshops and facilitating rich learning experiences for participants, Paul is convinced that learning must be interactive if it is to be enjoyable and successful. He quickly builds a sense of trust, engagement and creates the energy needed for people to maintain momentum.

Paul brings global experience of business consulting and coaching across a diverse client base. A seasoned professional, he has worked as a consultant for leading big 4 and boutique firms. He is qualified in and uses a variety of project management, consulting and coaching methodologies. He adopts a bespoke coaching approach to consulting and has supported individuals and organisations at all levels through a number of business critical I.T. and people transformation initiatives. With a reputation for quickly understanding an individual or organisation’s key drivers, Paul’s structured yet practical approach continues to deliver real value in real time.

Paul performs at his best when he can support the development of individual, team and organisational capability. He has designed and delivered strategies to improve communication processes within organisations and to overcome resistance. Current projects include developing a business consulting practice within a multinational organisation, with emphasis on its go to market strategy and supporting the set up of their internal coaching programme for staff.

Through his independent business, Coach to Change, Paul also supports entrepreneurs in a range of areas, including strategic planning, developing and executing market/client growth strategies for start up or existing businesses.

Janet Viirre

A genuine interest in people and in understanding what motivates them defines Janet Viirre. Since graduating from The University of Waterloo with a degree in Mathematics and Business Information Systems, she has been striving to find the promised “excess’ leisure time as computers were to do all the work! Ironically we ended up with less as we strove for more information and life just could not keep up.

Primarily focused on entrepreneurial clients Janet has spent over 20 years implementing, training, massaging, and slicing and dicing data from mid-market ERP systems. Throughout this journey she realized the importance of relationship and communication between clients, colleagues and people in general as technology increasingly allowed them to hide behind the machine. In the end, machines are machines, it is the people driving them that matters.

As a founding partner of Blue Ridge Information Group, brig , since 2003, Janet and her partner strive to “Help You with Your Business so You can get more out of Life!”. They model balanced living by managing a successful partnership as well as focusing on keeping themselves healthy, spending time with family and always having fun. Balance and improvement are continuous changing processes as our lives change and need to be constantly reassessed. On the client side they help improve business processes and the use of information so owners can sleep at night and employees can “Get ‘er Done by 5”.

Janet recently had a fortune cookie that said “Your graceful qualities make difficult things seem easy”. There was a resounding “That’s You” from her colleagues. From the outside looking in that is what Janet represents.

In 2006 Janet became a graduate of the Core Essentials Coaching program through Coach U and then furthered her coaching education by becoming a Licensed Facilitator for The Coaching Clinic® in 2007, a coach training program from Corporate CoachU. She desired a formal understanding of what coaching is and how she can transfer that knowledge to others. She credits her use of a coach as one of the main reasons why her goals and aspirations in life have been accelerated and achieved.

She is a founding partner of Beyond Possibility, a global partnership of CoachU graduates and Coaching Clinic® Licensed Facilitators brought together to provide a very unique experience to coach trainees.
