Background
Bill Swift is an executive coach and leadership performance and change consultant with more than 30 years of corporate management experience. He has led large retail and commercial banking organizations. His experience stretches across marketing, sales, customer service, call center management, and human resources. He has led initiatives across a broad spectrum of strategic goals. He brings this dynamic experience into his coaching relationships with an enthusiastic business focus to inspire leadership development and deliver results.
Previous Experience
At Rogers Bill spent six years as an executive in the GTA and South Western Ontario call-center operations. Previously, Bill spent 25 years with the Bank of Montréal in a variety of leadership positions on both the retail and commercial sides of the business. In 1998 Bill was recognized with the ITX Award for his leadership work on the mbanx development team. He has been on the Board of Directors of Eurolite Architectural Lighting & Design since 2000.
Affiliations
Bill spent two terms as the chairperson of the Bank of Montréal's "Our People Fund" charity: raising in excess of $1 million a year. Bill has also been a director of both the Mississauga and North York symphony orchestras.
Education
Bill has a Bachelor degree from the University of Toronto majoring in Economics. He has also completed an Advanced Executive Program at the Ivey School of Business, University of Western Ontario and the Kellogg School of Business, Northwestern University, Illinois. Bill is a CoachU graduate, an ICF affiliate and is licensed for the delivery of programs in Essential Conversations for Developing Others, (ECDO) and the Coaching Clinic, both deliverables of CoachU/Inc. Bill is currently enrolled in the Advanced Corporate Coaching Program with CoachU.
Personal Note
Bill is married with two sons, 18 and 24, respectively attending their first and last year of University. He has and continues to spend a lot of time in Hockey arenas. He is an avid reader, enjoys a broad range of music and frequently attends concerts and the theatre. In recent years the family Swift has traveled extensively, with recent trips to Mexico, London, Spain, Morocco, Turkey and Israel. Bill is at his best, given time to think and reflect, on the dock of his cottage.
